The technical studio is leaded by the architect Valerio Cappelletti graduate at the Polytechnic of Torino 18.02.1984 and registered by the Architects’ association of the Autonomous Region Aosta Valley from 10.03.1997 with the number 212, occasionally cooperates with renowned professional offices in Aosta Valley and Piedmont.
He works in the planning and direction scope of both private and public works mainly of new construction or renovation of civilian buildings, hotel and tourism-oriented works. Recently he applied himself in the realization of new firehouses.
Architect Cappelletti is a supporter of the alpine architecture and urban, he wrote his dissertation about the role of the urban planning in a context of respect of the mountain environment. In his dissertation he develops a particular sensitivity towards the environment intended as a territory with its history, tradition and culture that it’s inseparable from the human activity and its demonstration which architecture is the main result.
Architect Cappelletti thinks that even if the city planning covers an important role in the protection of environment, the role in understanding the physical development of the territory and their effects on the environment and landscape can be the responsibility only of the urban and architectural planning. In the Alps reality mostly composed by small conurbations city planning and architecture tend to cover the same role because the interest of the city planning in the quality and physical “shape” of the landscape deals with an interest for the architecture.
